Food as Medicine

 I had the pleasure of interviewing a Master herbalist who hails form the beautiful island nation of Grenada. I visited Grenada last year for Christmas.  I reconnected with my colleague and physician sister friend Dr. Edwards. She introduced me to Dr. Delves. I was so impressed by how the community continually stopped by to honor him and wish him well because his dedication to help his community use food as medicine has helped so many . I had to get to know more. When he visited Washington, D.C. , I finally got to sit down and learn about his journey. Dr. Delves believes people are bombarded with different sicknesses because of lack of knowledge and they are slaves to pharmaceuticals which can be overwhelming the body depending on their illness.
